Experience: I have proudly been working in the solar industry ever since my first job out of college in 2007. I have over 16 years of experience selling residential and commercial solar. In working for a handful of Hawaii’s best solar companies, I have gained extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of the solar installation and permitting processes, and will ensure the project goes as smoothly as possible for all my valued customers.

Career Highlights: I started my own marine solar company with my husband called Sun Powered Yachts in 2018. We specialize in selling solar to boats, RVs and other specialty off-grid applications. We’re in year 6 of business, and exclusively sell only Maxeon panels. We are honored to be a funding partner of Papahanamokuakea Marine Debris Project (pmdphawaii.org) and donate 1% of total sales from Sun Powered Yachts to help fund their incredible organization and cleanup missions.

Personal Overview: I am very passionate about helping people go solar! I’ve lived off-grid on the Hilo side of Hawaii Island for almost 12 years, in an old growth, native rainforest. I am also an avid sailor with over 15,000nm sailed. I recently completed a two year sailing sabbatical with my family, crossed the Atlantic and lived aboard with them on our solar powered sailboat. In my free time, I enjoy family time at the beach or hikes in newby Volcano National Park.
