Schedule a Solar System Inspection
A solar inspection can determine whether your panels are working efficiently and generating the maximum amount of energy possible. This includes checking the panels, inverters, and wiring for any damage, dirt, or malfunction. Identifying and fixing any issues can increase the overall efficiency of your system, thus saving you money on your energy bills.
If you are buying or selling a home with a solar electric system and you would like to schedule a solar inspection, please call 808-400-9050 and ask for a System Checkup site inspection. For systems larger than l0kW, please call for a quote. During our Solar System Checkup, we will:
- Check wall mounted solar electrical boxes for corrosion/damage
- Inspect solar array for breakage, cleanliness
- Inspect roof junction, combiner boxes, conduit
- Check voltage & amperage on solar module strings on systems with wall mounted inverters
- String inverter inspection, tightening of DC and AC wire connections, power output, display functioning
- Inspect and verify PV circuit breaker operation; tightening of AC wires
- Check AC power output micro-inverters, if applicable
- Inspect conduit, roof penetrations, and rails
- Assess expected energy output
- Evaluate available roof space for system expansion
- Confirm system compliance with latest utility programs
- Note any environmental concerns that might impair system performance
System checkup does not include replacement parts or service-related labor. Recommendations to improve the system’s performance will be provided in your written report.
